Previous Events

Sponsored Walk @ Hannington, 17th May 2008

Congratulations to the 20+ walkers and numerous dogs who completed the walk - a  good time was had by all! The attached photos show some of the walkers. Details of the sponsor money raised will follow shortly.

RSPCA Week (28th April - 4th May 2008)

A big thanks to all the kind people of Basingstoke and Andover who donated a total of £1,737.69 and over 20 trolly loads of pet food to us whilst we were collecting during RSPCA week. These funds are much needed and the food will keep our rescued animals fed for a number of months!

Christmas Fair, 1st December 2007

Great fun was had by all! We had people queuing for Santa to open the Fair (word had got around about the amazing donations that we had received). The traditional kids games, santas grotto, sweet treats, gift and craft stalls were all well received. The event raised over £1,100 for needy animals in our local branch.

Microchipping Day, 14th July 2007

Following the success of previous years, the branch organised a subsidised pet microchipping day in July. Volunteers helped market this around Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

Again, the event was a big success with over 80 cats and dogs being microchipped on the day. Further dates will be organised in due course. Please monitor this web site for further details.

The RSPCA actively encourage pet owners to get their animals microchipped. Should a pet go missing, microchipping increases the chances of the animal being identified and safely reunited with the owner.
